Hello there!

Welcome to another cool sketch challenge from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge ! I did up a 12x12" layout and I have it framed and hanging in my craftroom!

Supplies used are always from my random stash! Little bit of funky paper from CTMH, and a couple others from MME and a nameless paper pack is in there too! 'DREAM' is thickers from American Crafts I do believe.

Creative Corner Challenges - Coffee & Tea Time

Hello! I'm always up for a cuppa jo! How about you?

This week's fabulous challenge from Team Jess over at Creative Corner Challenges is Coffee & Tea Time. No sponsor this week, so anything goes!

I created a 12x12" layout for this challenge. I had one little 3x3" photo that I was dying to use from
camping last summer! Coffee made over the fire! :D I love camping, and not very often does inanimate objects get scrapped. In the words of Shimelle Laine, "scrapbook the everyday!" How cool is that? I  would love to do this more often!

My hand got a little shaky with the gold glitter, but I'm still ok with how the overall scrapbook layout turned out! I used a mix of my stash for this one! Martha Stewart glitter,  Recollection paperpack,  Mariposa paperpack, Teresa Collins sequins, Heidi Swapp PL card (love this)....my scrap stash goes on and on!

Quick Freebie Journaling Card Printable!

Hi guys and gals!

Today is my first official day of Maternity Leave! I am 36 weeks today with this little guy! 

I'm having a rest day today, as I was feeling pretty crumby yesterday, and I thought I'd make some Journaling Cards. 


You should be able to right click and 'save' to your computer and print as needed! Please feel free to use them in your scrapbooks, Project Life, prayer journaling....whatever your little heart desires!

Hi all! Just stopping by quick to show you all my version of AHSC #77! I had a pretty steady week, and didn't have time to start last Monday! So.....better late than never! I am at a scrapbook retreat this weekend, so I had some time to sneak this in! :D YAY!!! I decided to try out a LO (layout) instead of a card! Some of my weekend finds!

I took a trip to the "big city" this past weekend....SASKATOON! ooh, ahhh! 

I was able to spend the entire day to myself! No kids to chase, or to listen to wining! (Thanks Mom!!) I had a great visit with my sister and her family! (Love you guys!) And did some shopping of course! Here are some of the treasures I picked up along the way!

Winners find #1! I saw this beauty and my automatic thought kicks in and says, "hey, you can totally make that!" And then reality kicks in and says, "mmmm, ya, no!" So I picked this beauty up for $20!! It will be a beautiful addition to my Master Bedroom Makeover! (Spring 2015 project!)

Winners find #2! There were 2 of these boxes on the clearance racks; 1 was $15 and full of scratches, rips, and stains :( and this one was $12 and in pretty great condition! :D 

THIS. Love this! The photo does not do justice to the color of this treasure! :D My Mom-in-law's next door neighbour saw on Facebook that I was looking for old suitcases, she called me up to come see her before I left, and put this in my hand! THANK YOU SYLVIA!! :D

Mid Week Trip up North & a Scrapbook Haul!!

Happy Monday All! So we took a random trip up to Prince Albert last Wednesday (we arrived at 1 a.m.) Totally spur of the moment trip. My dh had a couple days off mid week (I love those days!) sooo, we packed up the kids & the car and headed out! 

While there, we visited his parent, and saw some friends. We were able to sneak out to the movies for a date with a couple of our friends, Ryan & Chantelle! We haven't seen them in about 6 months, so it was definitely a really good visit! Anywho, we went to Pacific Rim...AWESOME! Thanks mom and dad for watching the kiddos! 

While on this trip, I also snuck in visit with my friend Brianne. She is the owner/operator of Bri's Scrapbook Therapy & has tons of wonderful product to create with! Of course, while I was there I did some shopping! 

I cannot wait to use these! {missing from photo: Steampunk Spells by Graphic 45}

Love me some Washi Tape! Especially with a Paris Theme! Also, Liquid Pearls! Love this color and love how smooth it goes on my projects {I've tried LP on canvas only, so I'm excited to see what else it can do!} I was able to score some black Gesso, so I will be looking at how I can use these little jars of goodness! {yes, I bought 3! haha}

Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Chalkboard {in Apricot & Strawberry Shortcake}! Whaa? I'm good with anything that has to do with a chalkboard! ;) Also purchased a Glimmer Mist in Tattered Leather! 

LOVE My Mind's Eye! "Find Your Wings and Fly" Collection: Paper, brads and a coordinating stamp set! I finally got my hands on a set of dylusions 5x8" stencils!! Super excited to put them to use! eek!! :D

Summer Birthdays...and a bit more!

Hello there! I am just arriving home after spending the last 2 weeks running around! I spent my birthday weekend in Saskatoon scrapbooking like mad! {YAHOO!} Arrived home last Monday, just to unpack/repack and head out to Good Spirit Lake! I love summer!

In June, we celebrated 2 outta 4 of my kiddos birthdays.

The second party was for Khymara, who turned 8!

Karen working like mad on her fabulous Florida project! This gal is so stinkin' creative!! Only she would think of using some Tim Holtz packaging to make a "Shadow Box" for a gigantic sea shell! <3
