Creative Corner Challenges - Coffee & Tea Time
Hello! I'm always up for a cuppa jo! How about you?
This week's fabulous challenge from Team Jess over at Creative Corner Challenges is Coffee & Tea Time. No sponsor this week, so anything goes!
I created a 12x12" layout for this challenge. I had one little 3x3" photo that I was dying to use from
camping last summer! Coffee made over the fire! :D I love camping, and not very often does inanimate objects get scrapped. In the words of Shimelle Laine, "scrapbook the everyday!" How cool is that? I would love to do this more often!
Here is what I came up with!

Creative Corner Challenges - Valentine's Day/LOVE - A Day for Daisies!
Happy {almost} Valentine's Day!
Our challenge over at Creative Corner Challenges with Team Jess is sponsored by A Day for Daisies. I love the whimsical digi stamps! :D
Here's what I'm working with today:
I used Close to My Heart watercolor pencil crayons for the wash background. The pearl dots on top are BoBunny Sugar Pearlescents. The flowers on the left are a SU! stamp called Inspired by Nature. The mushrooms I hand sketched and painted. I used random sticker letters from my stash. I did this as a page in my journal. I've been on a journaling kick lately, and this is what I came up with.
What are you working on for Valentine's Day? I hope you will join us this week!

He loves me, he loves me not.
A little dark for Valentine's Day, but it's what popped into my head when I saw the fairy's face! She looked quite saddened.

Creative Corner Challenges - FEATHERS!
Hello 2016! Happy New Year!!
Welcome to a new challenge with Creative Corner Challenges. I hope you will head over and check out my fellow Design Team blogs! They have some amazing work to show you too!
This challenge is all about feathers, so dig in and find some!
Here is my card!
I took inspiration from the 2014 Close to My Heart Catalogue on page 121. I searched high and low for something with feathers. And would you believe it or not, someone who loves owls and peacocks has nothing feathers...or so I thought. I finished up this card and started cleaning up mydisaster craftroom. And whaddya know? I found purple peacock paper and a feather stamp! HA! Anywho, for this project I made a washi tape feather with some twine as the "stem" then painted it black with a coat of gold paint over top. For the feather on the left, I sketched one with charcoal and filled it in with BoBunny Pearlescents Pen in Sugar. I added a few gems to the edges too. I chose a random Project Life card out of my stash (I'm horrible for not keeping the packaging!!)
I hope you will play along with us at Creative Corner Challenges with Team Jess!

Creative Corner Challenges - Anything Goes
Hello 2016! Happy New Year!
Welcome to a brand new challenge to ring in the New Year! I'm over at Creative Corner Challenges with Team Jess bringing you an Anything Goes challenge! Make sure to stop by all the Designers on the team too! Go on, Get crafty!
In all the hustle and bustle of the season, I misread what the challenge was for this week HA! So, this is what I came up with at 10 p.m. last night!
I know it's New Year's Day, but I had to slip one last Christmas project in! This is some of my Christmas pics from 2014. I created a 3x3" (inch) mini album using one piece of 12x12" paper. I learned this technique years ago, and love it still to this day. YouTube has many video tutorials on how to do this! I used a ton of little odds and ends in my stash (gotta use it up right?!) I also had a Christmas pack from a couple years back from Close to My Heart, so I finally got around to using it in this project!

Creative Corner Challenges - Must Have 3 Embellishments
Hi all! This challenge is a super fun one! Anything goes as long as you have 3 Embellies in your work! AND?! We are sponsored by A Day for Daisies!! Love it!
Head over to Creative Corner Challenges to check it out!
My digital stamp can be found here at A Day For Daisies! I played around with my watercolor pencil crayons from Close to My Heart. I've never actually used a paintbrush with them, but I really like how it turned out! I did the drippy look on purpose! {incase you were wondering!} I free handed the "You're my cuppa tea" using the Riesling font from Dafont as reference. I added Liquid Pearls to the hearts on the cup; Tim Holtz stickles on the wings...and 3 glitter brads as my embellies. I had an extra 8x10" frame kicking around and thought it would be perfect for displaying this piece! I think I will be making more pieces like this! I'm so in love with this stamp! Thank you ADFD!
Here is my challenge for this week!
Enjoy and have a super weekend!
