Hello & welcome to a brand new month...JUNE! Holy smokes, half way through 2016!! June is my favorite month. But I'm a bit biased because it's my birthday month!

Here is my creation for this one. The fun little bbq is from the 'My Kitchen' Cricut cartridge. The sentiment is a super cute wooden letter stamp set from Michaels ($1.50!) The red picnic paper in the background is from AMBillustrations I found on Etsy. Super cute digital paper!

Creative Corner Challenges - Anything Goes

Hello 2016! Happy New Year!

Welcome to a brand new challenge to ring in the New Year! I'm over at Creative Corner Challenges with Team Jess bringing you an Anything Goes challenge! Make sure to stop by all the Designers on the team too! Go on, Get crafty!

In all the hustle and bustle of the season, I misread what the challenge was for this week HA! So, this is what I came up with at 10 p.m. last night!

I know it's New Year's Day, but I had to slip one last Christmas project in! This is some of my Christmas pics from 2014. I created a 3x3" (inch) mini album using one piece of 12x12" paper. I learned this technique years ago, and love it still to this day. YouTube has many video tutorials on how to do this! I used a ton of little odds and ends in my stash (gotta use it up right?!) I also had a Christmas pack from a couple years back from Close to My Heart, so I finally got around to using it in this project!

I hopped on board with a trend that has most likely been around forever, but I am just hearing about it now. 
Week in the Life. Documenting, journaling, Project Life-ing (NOT A WORD!) all wrapped up into one fabulous week. Real Life. The every day, the mundane, the messy, the loud, the exciting, the fun...and yes, even the laundry! :D

Creative Corner Challenges - For Mom

Good Morning! 

Happy May 1st! WAHOO! Spring is on its way!

This week we have a great challenge at Creative Corner Challenges sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. Our theme is 'For Mom'.

SUPPLIES USED:

A whole lotta "what's in my stash?" has been taking place in my little crafty corner! I've been finding papers/cardstock that I never knew I owned! It has been so much fun using up what I have! :D (Making me feel not so guilty for constantly buying!! Because now, I'm finally using it! )

My lighting has been a little wonky lately, so I apologize for the lighting... AND this card is the last card I will be making with my very first blending pen which has dried up almost completely! (I've owned it for 3 years!) I've ordered a new one and I cannot wait to use it! As I was coloring the MOM part of the image, it dawned on me that my children (probably the 4 year old) had been doing some blending of her own. SO. The MOM got a little dirty. But instead of completely spazzing out and printing a new one I left it alone. Adds some character I think! Moms get dirty. The blending added a little truth to this already hilarious depiction of moms! :D

Freebie Friday - Subway Art Fun week 2!

Hey there! Do you all get excited when Friday roles around? TGIF really just puts a big ol' smile on my face! :D

I am definitely ready for the weekend! Saturdays are "me" days. I spend Monday to Friday with my kiddos but also 3 other kiddos that I babysit. Some weeks seem crazier than others, this week was one of them.

But, like I said Saturdays are "me" days, and they usually involve some sort of crafty/hobby/baking/project of some such! This really makes me happy, hence -->"Art is Joy". I get to throw my creations on paper {and/or canvas!} and it is sooo freeing! :D OK, So on to Freebie Friday!
